One of the peculiarities of the climate of the Marches is the temperature range between day and night, especially during the summer season. This is due to the presence of cold air currents that descend from the mountains towards the sea. Furthermore, the Marches are characterized by a varied microclimate due to their geographical position, the presence of mountains and bodies of water, the distance from the sea and the altitude. For example, the mountainous areas of the Marches have a cooler and wetter climate than the coastal areas, where the climate is hotter and drier.

Thanks to these peculiarities, one evening, at sunset, the sky turned red. And our adventure began.
